Seems like it. However, Syndergaard obviously brings more value to the team than whoever he replaces

There have been too many pitchers fully recovered from TJ surgery to write this signing off.
There's upside, but a lot of risk for a guy who's thrown 2 innings over the last two seasons. And even if he does stay healthy, their rotation still looks pretty poor outside of Ohtani/Thor. But if he does pitch well he could have value at the trade deadline or they could even work out an extension.

I always thought Syndergaard was overrated even when healthy. I hate to see him leave the NL East because he's winless in his career against the Braves. You've gotta be a douchebag to allow yourself to be called Thor, and if you're gonna be called Thor, you better no be a brittle bitch.
deGrom turned out to be the best of the Mets big 3 because he was the only one that didn't have some gay ass comic book character nickname. Let that be a lesson to up and coming pitchers.
