I went through divorce while in nuc school. I had a court order requiring me to pay about $276/month child support and after taking several calls from my beloved ex, the CMC upped the allotment to $600 without my consent and over my objections. I got a counselling statement put into my record advising me of the repercussions were I to change my allotment back to the $276. My check was less than $200 a pay period.

Unless I have lost them in the last couple of years during my move, I have the counseling statement from the Nuc School CMC, LES from my last check before going to sub school, and the counseling statement from my new command's CMC restoring my pay and advising me that I could bring charges. I declined.
