I'm not sure Meyer has enough in the tank anymore to make MSU a somewhat legit contender. He'd probably at least get them decent again but I doubt they'd be ripping off 10+ win seasons consistently again like they were under Dantonio from like 2010-2017

I'm guessing part of the deal he made with the Ohio Attorney General was to never work in the state of Ohio again. This move makes perfect sense. Go to a rock-bottom program and anything that happens is an improvement. You know the players are all over it. He'll never bother to get to know them but will vouch for all bad behavior.

I think Urban and Michigan State are perfect for each other. Where else would Meyer fit in but a place that had serial molesters and coaches that enjoy sexual harassment as a pastime? It would seem to be a dream match.

Surprised it has taken this long for the rumors to start. In all honesty, I do think he will coach again someplace. However, if Sparty is not completely tone deaf they would be wise to stay away from this guy because of the public backlash.
