Ohio State Has Big Dick Energy

They are already inbound.

I’m referring to the PAC champs, Utah. Everyone is afraid of them except the mighty Gators. The only SEC team with the balls to schedule a home and home with the best team out West.
Dude Auburn beat Oregon and Washington in years they won the PAC. You’d better win or it’s a massive embarrassment.

There has been nonstop speculation the Big Ten will add more PAC-12 teams than just USC and UCLA in the near future, and Oregon and Washington are believed to be at the top of the list. Stanford and Cal are also believed to be in the mix.

However, Ohio State is reportedly not supportive of adding more teams at the moment, according to Jon Wilner.

This is the part I find funny:

Nothing happens in the B1G without the Buckeyes signing off on it. The conference might be a democracy, but in this situation, not everyone is equal with equal sway. Welcome to life in the world of college sports. It’s the world of haves and have nots.

Those Ohio State boys are dodging you.
Good. What does Oregon and Washington really truly offer? Shitty Nike uni’s?

It as click bait. I’m sure Ohio State has voice but they don’t have the pull the writer wants you to think they do. Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan State aren’t going to just bend the knee.
scUM did it for years. They bent over and took it hard. What changes now…

Not really, Oregon beat themselves. Which is what they always do in big games. Auburn, likewise, did what they usually do and got lucky.

Washington was just a de facto home game for Auburn. Plus they always look like shit when they travel east.

You’d better win or it’s a massive embarrassment.

Let’s tap the brakes on Utah. They may have been good last year and this year. But until they have multiple Rose Bowl wins and top 10 or even top 20 viewership, we can put them in that category.
Didn’t they beat your team’s ass last season?

Twice?

Yes they did - probably will this year if the meet. But to say Utah is the best in the west???? Maybe for a sliver of time. They have large hills to climb to teach UO & UW and a mountain to reach USC

Is that the same Utah that played Ohio State, who had 5 of their best players sit out the game and still beat them?.

Ohio State to the SEC

Not sure if anyone saw Real Sports on HBO. Bryant Gumbel is the host. They had Kevin Warren on. Conference is going to expand to 20 teams possibly more. Just who and when is the question.
You Oregon folks are hanging your hat on the wrong thing. The Warren comments are just filler:

BRYANT GUMBEL: Right now, we are having a major realignment in collegiate sports.

KEVIN WARREN: And I think during that period there’s gonna be a lot of disruption. And that’s okay. We need to embrace it if we want to make sure that we continually build college athletics in a position where it’s here 100 and 200 years from now.

BRYANT GUMBEL: You’re at 16 teams now. Could you foresee 20?

KEVIN WARREN: I could. Yeah. I could see perpetual and future growth.

For those that aren't in limbo in CFB what Warren said isn't we are going to 20. And there certainly isn't a time table. If it doesn't happen soon, you guys are screwed because you will have to sign a GOR, or the B12 will eat your corner teams.

What you should be hanging your hats on is the news that the Presidents are interested in the other 4 schools. That's important as they can see more than just the $$$ that Warren and the ADs see. They see that having 4 more teams on the west coast helps scheduling, and that all 4 teams meet their academic requirements. Start hoping the presidents do the right thing.

is this a loan strategy?

Not really, since Utah also had players sitting out. I think they even had an RB trying to play DB.

if tosu had that much pull, they would have started the season at the same time the SEC/Big12/ACC did back in 2020

Utah didn't have a single player sit out the Rose Bowl against OSU.
