What a surprise. Ohio State who couldn't beat Oregon at home doesn't want Oregon in their conference to potentially have an annual game with them. Ohio State and the B1G need to do whatever it takes to protect their precious "top" program. Because without Ohio State the B1G has nothing.

It's shameful how Ohio State is acting and this just confirms how threatened they are by USC joining the B1G and how they will do anything not to make the conference more competitive.
I don't think anyone would disagree with both the main PAC powers in the B1G the chances of Ohio State winning another conference championship would be bleak and they will die fighting any more expansion (unless its Rutgers type teams) so that they can maintain the illusion of them being a power.

I mean, damn, how many more posts do we have see in relation to the Oregon @ Ohio State game last season? We fuckin' get it. Oregon won. But what did that get Oregon? They didn't even make the Rose Bowl after getting skull fucked twice by a Utah team that Ohio State beat. If you think that that Ohio State team was the same team throughout the season that it was in the second game of the season, then you are keeping up with the wrong sport.
Without Ohio State, the B1G is nothing? Why the hell have folks been whining about Oregon not getting the invite if the B1G is nothing? Is Oregon that hard up to just want to be with Ohio State? The B1G just signed a multi-billion dollar deal. That sounds like a lot more than nothing.

Oregon got nowhere and Ohio State doesn't make the playoff even if they did win that game. So in the grand scheme it was completely meaningless. That's how you know Oregon is a second rate program. Their fans will fap to that win for decades.

Yeah, Whittingham is great at getting 3 star talent and developing it into a really good team. But that also means there are going to be 2-3 years where they aren't as good as the team develops.
NIL will be interesting with them too. They don't seem like a team that is likely to get a lot out of it.
