Check out the MityVac MV7300....
I've sold more than these than any other extractors we (NAPA) offer.
The problem with hand ones is you have to keep continuous manual vacuum otherwise they will leak out.
Whereas the air keeps continuous vacuum and will in return leak out less.
Also manual extractors have less capacity than air.
