GAME Oklahoma @ Baylor 12pm ET FOX

Not saying Bama or tOSU aren't good. Just the metrics for rankings seem to fluctuate. Example....prior to today, Cinci is ranked high, and they say they can't help their schedule. Yet, OU is ranked not as high because their schedule. Both were 9 - 0. Sure, OU is not a very good team this year. Wouldn't be surprised to see us drop a bit. Haven't thought we were a CFP caliber team for quite awhile and have posted this.
It isn't just about SOS and SOR.

Cincinnati would have been ranked under Oklahoma...except that they have a win vs. Notre Dame.
Texas was ranked decent and good. Until we broke them. lol. Honestly I hope Cinci does make it in. Will be tough with their shit schedule, but who knows? My guess is as follows...UGA is in. Bama, even with 2 probable losses is in. Because Bama. tOSU, if they win out are in. The 4th spot is up for grabs. Could be Cinci, Ore, UM, MSU. Probably no B12 rep. I'm actually a bit relieved that OU got a loss. Would've been a waste of a CFP spot.

Gameday rankings are meaningless. You know this.

Congratulations to Baylor. It was a great win for their program.

That lucky horseshoe finally fell out of OU's ass today. Here are a few observations. A lot of the people calling me today are pretty much in agreement.

* Riley's been flying too close to the sun with an offense that's gonna keep getting exposed as time goes on. He was beyond blessed with 3 super duper QB's and now he's got QB's that are mortal. Don't blame the QB's for everything even though some games a monkey throws shit at the zoo more accurately than our QB's throw . Take a look at everyone on the Offense and you won't find anyone right now that would be on a Best OU Players In The Past Ten Years list.

* Too many of our Defensive and Offensive linemen are sloppy. Big guys often do carry some extra weight around the middle but something's wrong when they're circus fat. Maybe a little more conditioning would help? Maybe take BIG-ASS FRIES off the training table?

* Tackling in the open field is a skill that the Oklahoma defense still has not mastered.

* OU just got beat by one of the weakest QB's in the conference. Think about that.

* Where are the players who want to lift the rope and step into the ring? Oklahoma's got zero reputation for being a physical team that pushes people around.

* Again with this talk about who the starting QB should be? Kinda late in the season for that isn't it?

* Riley's been out coached by Dave Aranda every time they go up against each other. Aranda's got Riley figured out. Aranda is kryptonite against Super Lincoln.

* Oklahoma DB's sweat spinal fluid when they are put out there by themselves on the edge.

* OU just had another WTF loss. In the words of Mike Tyson, "I'm thick and tired of this... Theriously.... "

* I predicted three weeks ago OU was going to be either #2 or #12 in the CFP poll.

* OU can just sit back and wait for the carcass to pop on its hopes for a NC this year. 1 National Championship in the past 36 years.

Hell of a kick for the TTU kicker to win that game. 62 yarder as the clock expired. ISU didn't help themselves. They've had some good wins, and some not good losses.

You know he's getting some tonight.

Fun fact. Tech and ISU have the same record now. One of them has a coach everyone thinks is hot shit and the other one fired theirs already.

They lose this game and I think Matt Campbell clinches the Charlie Weiss Coaching award for the worst coaching performance in the Big 12
And he and Aranda will probably say adios while they can. THe money tree is going to sink considerably when UT and OU hit the road.

Yeah but that spot may be a waste regardless. Or, maybe the 4 spot wins it all ala Ohio State and Bama.

That is a characteristic of Texas DBs so you can blame us. I blame all the 7 on 7 shit for touching them down instead of tackling them. 7 on 7 is good to develop QBs, WRs and DBs in the passing game. But it sucks for developing tackling DBs. JMO

What we learned in the B12 today. OU is what many thought. Not great. ISU is the definition of inconsistency. Texas indeed sucks(LOL - KU :laugh3:). OSU is legit. BU? Beats OU. Lost to TCU.
