Let's be more precise about that word "fire". Riley should not be "fired", as in lose his job. But this team has too much talent to be playing this poorly so the TEAM needs a "fire" lit under its ass. Imagine what Nick Saban would do with this team. Unfortunately, Lincoln Riley has a soft nougat center and can't/won't do that. Soooooo, we will remain one of college football's deadliest underachievers and keep flirting with disaster until we lose in the CCG or the CFP. Next year? Wash, rinse, repeat. This is on Lincoln Riley and his wing man Alex Grinch.

I can get behind that. But yeah, any talks of firing a 53-8 coach that has taken you to 3 playoffs in the last 4 years is ridiculous.

They did the same thing in KU's favor in the 1st half. That officiating crew was very slow to blow their whistles when forward progress had been stopped.

Mike Bellotti called Bob Stoops that night and apologized for the blown call. There was another close call when there was a question about if the Oregon player had tipped the ball. The refs ruled he had and the call hurt OU. Bellotti asked the player when he came off the field if he had tipped the ball and the player admitted he hadn't. Bellotti volunteered that information too. He didn't have to make that phone call but he did. Pure class.
 
Lol at Kansas sending out a school wide email and tweet encouraging everyone to come in for free just to see them lose.
