I don’t think it goes anywhere, and I’ve never been a big Nirvana fan, but did always think that was a fucked up album cover.

Not as fucked up as that Scorpions album cover, but still fucked up

They were paid $200 to go to a photo shoot. I wonder if there was any legal wording as part of that.

Probably end up setting for like $1 mill total

But wouldn't the parents/legal guardians be at fault here?

What's the big deal over the album cover anyways? It's just a baby. I don't get it.

I’m not a fan of using children too young to know what’s going on for things like that, especially nude.

But I saw Scorpions album cover in a guy I know’s extensive album collection that featured a nude young girl with a cracked glass graphic covering her privates. I don’t know how that was ever allowed to be sold

Because he's suing for whatever he can get. No one launches this suit in the press, goes after the bandmates for $150k each and thinks he has a serious chance of winning.

You're correct, it's about as clear as can be that it's art.

I always perceived that it wasn't really about the music with them as much as it was being the face of a counter-culture.

Me personally, when they were big, I wasn't into them. It wasn't until decades later that I allowed myself to appreciate some of their music.

I figure this is nothing more than an attempted cash grab. The dude probably hooked up with some slimy lawyer to concoct a means for capitalizing on that album cover.

I never really got into the whole grunge scene. I like Alice In Chains and the Melvins and Soundgarden is decent, but there’s no Nirvana or Pearl Jam in my playlist and it isn’t for lack of giving them a shot
