GAME Oregon Ducks (10-2) vs. Utah Utes (9-3) 8:00 PM ABC ET

Between that and their OC expected to take the HC job at Akron after the game tonight, there are other distractions around the program not really helping them stay focused on the last two games.

I know there's been a number of rematch CCGs, but I can't recall a team who was blown out in game 1 winning game 2.

I remember in 1999 when Nebraska was the best team in football and shit the bed in Austin (lost by 4) and then came back to win the Big 12 over them 22-6.

Why do y’all let this dunce start a game thread an entire day early?

Yeah, most have been close, but I can think of one...

2001 Big12 CCG. Texas beat Colorado 41-7 and Colorado won in the rematch CCG 39-37

I can go in the other direction. 2012 Nebraska won 30-27 in the regular season and lost 70-31 in the CCG after being favored by 12

Here's the question for you though, WHY was Oregon blown out? It's a question you are far more suited to answer. Was it injuries? Out coached or out matched in the trenches? Just a down game for the boys after the prior week?

College can be so far up and down from week to week. If they had any lapses in attention or motivation the first time, they certainly wouldn't have it here. However, if there are issues early I could see them puckering up pretty quickly too.

What is different on the injury front for this game vs the prior? Any kids returned that missed that one? New ones out? On both teams really.

Seemed to me the running game was way off vs Utah. Maybe I'm not remembering that right. I fully expected the ducks to be more productive on the ground. Ducks finished with 63 yards on the ground? How is a QB supposed to do their thing with putrid running like that?

The question is, how are they going to get the rushing they didn't have in game 1. If they get that ground game, his QBR will go well up.

Also, isn't it expected that QBR scores are low in games you are playing from behind? He was forced into more throwing because of the score, and the bad running game wasn't he?
