GAME Oregon Ducks @ Ohio St. Buckeyes | 11:00 | Fox Sports

There might actually be three MORE losses unless something changes.

Right now they wouldnt beat Penn State or Wisconsin but they could probably slide by everyone else.

The offense is fine but they need to shake the slow start shit. If they played like they did in the 2nd half all game we win.

They have issues. I didn’t think this was a particularly well played game. Stroud missed too many open throws, that hurt. OSU put too
Much pressure on him to win also. Run game is inconsistent. That is why the red zone was a mess. The defense needs a real coordinator, it’s like watching TExas, bunch of talent just running around not knowing where to go

Stroud did fine considering what he had to work with. The defense did no favors everytime hed lead us to a score Oregon would easily go right back down the field. The oline decided to stop pass protecting on those last 2 possessions too.

I made the comment that it looks like Texas in the early 2010s too much "corporate" like structure where guys like Coombs somehow stick around despite their defenses having no clue what they are doing.

That is funny, because I said to an OSU fan that Coombs is your Akina. Akina was an awesome DB coach for Texas. Same killer reputation as Coombs. You kind of had no choice to promote him, because of all he accomplished for the program. That said both are awesome DB coaches and terrible DCs. The hard part is how do you fix the situation

I tried to tell y'all that OD does the Oregon game threads, but folks didn't want to listen.

I'm lookin' at you @TheDayMan and @huskers1217

If OD does the game thread, Oregon loses and we get treated to an OD meltdown.

Now, he's gonna go full OD and that blood is on your hands.

There's a reason you don't say Candyman 5 times and a reason that OD does the Oregon threads.

At this point its not worth keeping him if he refuses to just be a position coach.

I dont think we will have much trouble attracting recruits with whoever we would replace them with.

Theres a few other coaches i'd axe too. The LBers once again look completely awful. They constantly take the worst angles and attempt way too many weak arm tackles that get broken. Theres also zero play awareness from them.

The Dline has been shockingly MIA this year. We've gotten 1 real DL pressure pretty much in 2 games and that was the strip sack against Minnesota.

LBs in a defense that is confused always look like shit, so hard to say what is the problem below when the top is a disaster

I can't remember the last time we had a actual solid complete LBer unit. Its been quite awhile.

The secondary has actually looked OK for the most part, considering all the injuries we've dealt with to start the year. The DL and LBers have been complete trash though. Oregon coulda ran 2 plays all game, right up the middle and that flank speed run to the left and we woulda never stopped them

Oregon looked good today

... but I'm still pissed at them for letting the barn beat them in 2019.
