OREGON to the B1G

I could go on and on in that regard. I don't give a shit most years to see OSU play Wake Forest, Ga Tech, Duke, Colorado, Kansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Mizzou, Kentucky, Arkansas, Pitt, NC State, Syracuse, and the in-conference teams I've mentioned at least. On the flipside, there are a good numbers of G5's that I'd like to see them play before any of these P5s.
There is not one G5 I would rather see Auburn play then the list of teams you posted.

I think you are being a little ridiculous with that statement.

There is nothing in the network contracts that require teams to meet certain scheduling parameters and there never will be.

Scheduling is hard enough without having punitive measures attached so no one would ever agree to them.
They just killed the pac12. Don’t be so sure about that. The networks could absolutely impact the scheduling of G5 teams. That’s not a product th eh want to broadcast. They want Michigan playing good teams for eyeballs. Not ECU.

I think OOC games should all be home and home series.

The only reason you feel that way is because you have been conditioned to think P5>G5 in all instances, which obviously isn't the case. That's the only possible explanation for your statement.

Networks didn’t kill the PAC inept leadership for years did that. They just weren’t willing to pay above a market rate for what it had become.

The SEC and B1G are not going to let networks dictate their individual teams’ scheduling it just isn’t going to happen.

You need to remember just because a thought pops in your head that doesn’t make it a fact.

Exactly. What's been stopping the networks from doing this years and years ago if they truly had that kind of power over the conferences and their individual teams?

No it’s not.

Name one G5 that you think would be a better matchup for Auburn than NC State and let’s not even get into GT because that game has actual history.

Individual scheduling, probably not. But certainly could influence the leagues they schedule with. wouldn’t shock me a bit if some version of that was included in the next negotiation.

They are Big 12 and technically P5 now so they don’t count.
Up to this point they've never played a snap of P5 football so they count. As do Cincy, Houston, and the rest of the G5s that went to the Big 12.

Outside of those, App State, Troy, Tulane, Toledo, Boise State, Fresno State, Marshall, and several more would be more exciting on an average year than Kansas, Rutgers, Vandy, Colorado, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Indiana, and several other of those teams I mentioned.

For now it's P5.

In the near future, it will be the P2 and everyone else.
It'll be major leagues and minor leagues. Just stash developmental players in G5 and have them transfer when they prove up. Use your booster clubs to fund scholarships to the lesser schools.

Not really anyone that has made a move to a P5 conference is off the board.

That being said Auburn fans are going to more excited about a NC State game than UCF. I can get where OSU fans would like to play Cincy over Wake Forest but they don't count either because we are talking about the FUTURE.

We've played Toledo and if you think that is a better game than NC State then we can stop the conversation right now because you obviously have a mental condition and I don't want to be the reason you harm yourself.

Then, those teams should play each other. I hate seeing the crap P5 teams that Wisconsin schedules.

Someone made a joke about treating it like European soccer where teams can be moved up a division or down based on play and honestly that sounds pretty interesting. It would never happen but just imagine if the B1G took the ACC and the SEC took the B1G and teams got to move up and down. You might have Air Force in the B1G and Indiana in the MWC for a couple of seasons. Never happen but would be fun.

As an OSU fan, I can say this year I am more interested in our game vs. Western Kentucky than at Rutgers or Indiana.
