I have no idea if this link is going to properly work but I’ll try anyways. I know I’ve posted this video before but I just listened and watched this again and damn it, if it didn’t bring tears to my eyes. I type this through the swelling of tears in my eyes so I apologize for any typos.

But this THIS is the pride of Duck fans and those who grew up in Oregon. THIS expresses the heart and PRIDE of living in this state and supporting its university. It’s beautiful, the lyrics to the imagery shown throughout the video, it captures what it means to be an Oregonian and grow up in this great state tucked away in the Pacific Northwest. A place that has been building a college football Mecca, a place that one day will hoist that national championship and rightfully call themselves the kings of college football.

I could watch this video and listen to this song over and over and it encompasses so much of everything. It’s beautiful. This state is beautiful, this program is HONOR and PRIDE.

We will do this Ducks, we will do this Oregonians and when it happens it will be the moment we have all been waiting for. Little ‘ol Oregon will be the kings of the football world. Leave your hearts in Oregon.

Shit I’m sitting here balling my eyes out re-watching this like I’m a 50 year old woman watching the Hallmark channel.

These are tears of proudness, tears of excitement and tears of heartfelt. The lyrics, the video, from the 1:38 mark to just realizing where this program was to where it is now and how close it is to becoming its vision. It’s just amazing. It’s a beautiful story and what a way to see it all wrapped up in 3 minutes and 26 seconds. This is true art.
