GAME OSU (3) versus PSU (18) 730 ABC

so is dimaccio the kicker going forward? either way, they need to work on their shit, whoever it is taking kicks. two missed fg's inside of 30 yards is unacceptable

Coming out today Haubeil had a groin injury. He is usually pretty reliable

Ummmm...... Not a fan of multiple missed FG
At close range as well. There are things I like and things that I think really need to be addressed about this team after two weeks.
starting off with the special teams. Two easy missed field goals. Just can't afford to leave points on the field, especially chip shots. Second, the miscommunication on the punt where we should have had PSU pinned at the one yard line, but instead it went into end zone for a touchback.

Defense! I love our defensive line and Larry Johnson has these guys dialed in. However, our secondary is young and still learning. If we don't get a pass rush, these guys will get torched. Something that concerned me, Shaun Wade got exposed which shocked the hell out of me. Linebackers were solid overall.

I'm the offense, these guys are in the class of all stars. Running game was better. Wife receivers are amazing. Quarterback play I think Justin Fields is the leader for the Heisman now.
the offensive line overall was pretty good. Still room for improvement, especially picking up a delay safety blitz that has me nervous seeing Fields blindsided.

The coaching staff overall was good, but not great this game. I would like to stay aggressive and less conservative footballing in the fourth quarter.

As long as Haubeil heals up, I'm not too worried about the field goals. Punting should be fine as well. Chrisman is really good. Olave probably chewed that dude out that knocked the ball into the end zone when he was standing at the one waiting for it.

Secondary is definitely a concern, after Wade there definitely seems to be a huge drop off. Hooker looks to be a bright spot. Kid is getting better. Wade getting beaten on those three plays isn't quite as worrisome as the stat sheet suggests. Two of those catches were just amazing plays by the receiver and actually we're pretty well defended. The third he got torched.

Linebacker play surprised the heck out of me. They played really well in both coverage and the run game, I'm sure it helped the defensive line playing as well as it did.

Offensive line had a really good game for the most part. That delay blitz should be picked up by a running back or tight end and sometimes needs to be recognized by the coaches/QB. Tough for an offensive line to get at that when they are already going to be engaged.

Offense looks to do pretty much whatever it wants at the moment. Running game looked much much better. Didn't like how conservative we got either to protect a lead instead of extend. It made the game much closer than it should have been IMO

The run defense definitely played a lot better, was concerned after watching them get gashed by Nebraska last week. They pretty much kept the QB run in check which was good to see, thought that was going to be a huge lingering problem this season.

Olave and Wilson are going to be a nightmare for the whole conference. Youre cooked if you cant get pressure on Fields quickly
