Overreaction Monday

do these people not have the same access to the mayor's location that you have?
They must not have loved ones who were golfing in the outing today.

Played softball last night. Got hit in the ankle by a ball. Felt fine until I took my shoe off. Now I’m limping around like a gimp. And I have a bunch of road rash on my leg from sliding for catch a foul ball.

Seems I’m getting too old for rec sports. I can’t stop myself from going all out and now I’m starting to get banged up almost every game.

The Nashville Farmer's Market down on Jefferson has been exposed numerous times for selling bulk shit from Kroger and Costco at 3x the cost.
Oh no doubt. I go to same vendors I know have actual farms.

There's a larger farmers market I go to and you can see Costco cartons right in box truck.

What is a "gastropub"? I went to one in New Bern and it was awesome.

And usually at minimum a decent draft list
Correct. Fancy beer for fancy food.

I like gastropubs.

But I have soft spot for greasy old school bars that if you're lucky have flat top to make burger or counter top pizza oven to cook the first frozen pizza. ( Here in MN, usually Heggies)

I mainly buy stuff you’d never see at a store. I suppose occasionally they could sneak something by me, but store stuff always looks perfect. Most stuff at the farmer’s market is pretty clearly home grown because of the size/shape of the stuff.

yeah, I always look for that, if I see perfectly shaped/colored bell peppers and tomatoes I'm moving on

Or if they have items that aren't in season, especially in early markets (it's possible they have greenhouses)

And I still remember seeing a pineapple at Minneapolis farmers market, I was skeptical
