Packers sign Aaron Jones to 4 year/$48 million deal

That is going to set the way for a Chubb extension...if it comes soon. Will probably get around the same.

Smart move keeping that boy.
Agree. Seems to be a hard worker and well-liked among his peers.

Glad he got some dough from the Pack too - the dude was only making like 650K/y... WAY underpaid for his production... would've been shitty to use him like that then not give him some bread when it's time to pony up.

As last season progressed, it also started to look like AJ Dillon was legit. The Packers seem poised to have one of the best RB duos in the NFL over the next couple seasons. ... ...That's probably the first time I've ever uttered that sentence in my lifetime.

The Packers will dominate their division again.

Re-signing Jones was a great move.

Losing Linsley was a kick in the sack.

Agree. I really like Linsley too, but I knew we couldn't keep both. Would've been happy retaining either one, just couldn't lose both. I wish him the best of luck in a Chargers uni.

There's a microscopic silver lining to losing Linsley, though; the Packers should get a 3rd or 4th round compensatory pick next draft for losing him.
