Padres fire Rothschild

Padres very well could miss the post-season and if that is the case the entire coaching staff needs to be cleaned out.
 
Somebody should’ve coached Darvish and Drew Pomeranz on how to not hurt himself.

Could’ve told Tatis to quit going on the IL while they were at it too.

I know the division is tough, but they should at least make the wild card, and also look at their overall record and overall performance. They are 68-58. Seems inexcusable for a team with that much star power and talent should be potentially on the verge of a .500 type season. But the way they are playing they very well could end up around .500.

I mean they lost a series to the D-Backs recently.
 
I just hope the Padres stick to the brown and yellow combo and keep that swinging friar logo. Best look in baseball and top 5 logo of all time.
 
Padres still have 9 with the Dodgers, 10 with the Giants, 3 with the Astros and 3 with the Braves. Not an easy schedule, and most of those Giants/Dodgers games are on the road.

Injuries haven't helped, but that pitching staff has been kinda disappointing. Paddack continues to struggle after a strong rookie season but crappy 2020. Snell's had a shitty year as well
