I enjoyed his character in the last Suicide Squad movie and Cena has a bit of a knack for the sarcastic, over the top jingoism that is needed for the character, so I will likely check out the show.

Watched all 3 released episodes. Has some funny moments and there is something to build on here. But so far not impressed. Best part about it is the intro dance. I hate when they take super heroes and make them pussies that get their ass kicked all the time.

I LOVED it. And I went in KNOWING I was going to hate it.

But that opening credit scene slapped me in the face and said, “Relax, Francis!”. And I did. And I loved that they basically just made The Tick, but removed all the seriousness.

Good call, it is very Tick like. But to go from telling Deadshot that he can make any shot better, to being multiple episodes in and repeatedly sucking balls...sheesh.

Suicide Squad sucked.

I am good if they just make believe it never happened.
 
Last nights episode was far and away the best yet. Finally Peacemaker isn't a sniveling pussy, action, and the plot feels like it finally moved forward. :yes:

I've watched them all as well.

Adequate. Will continue to do so.
 
I was having a conversation with someone and told them Yellowstone was the greatest thing on TV right now only to find out they had not seen Yellowstone. I was shocked. They told me Peacemaker was the best thing on TV right now and was shocked that I hadn't seen it. He told me it's awesome and to watch it that night. I was skeptical because of not only was it yet another super hero show but it's Cena.

I went home and turned it on. First thing I see is the intro and I immediately turned it off, I knew he must've trolled me.

No one posts on the NBA board because I dont think there are any NBA fans left. Not sure anyone watches it anymore.

This show has to be a joke? Is it a mockery of all the new super hero shows/movies out there? Like purposefully bad? I just saw the intro with the dance and turned it off, waste of time.

well, if you didn't see the suicide squad then you don't get it. james gunn brings a the fun back to the super hero genre a la guardians of the galaxy, another group most people were unfamiliar with, but super fun movie.

i'm sure 1883 is great and don't care to get into what is the best show on tv, but this is an enjoyable show to watch. i watch a lot of oscar bait shit, i enjoy these light shows better and at the same time gunn always brings more heart and other elements into it you wouldn't expect.
 
Really entertaining show. Cena is killing it in this role.
