TV Series Peacemaker

I was having a conversation with someone and told them Yellowstone was the greatest thing on TV right now only to find out they had not seen Yellowstone. I was shocked. They told me Peacemaker was the best thing on TV right now and was shocked that I hadn't seen it. He told me it's awesome and to watch it that night. I was skeptical because of not only was it yet another super hero show but it's Cena.

I went home and turned it on. First thing I see is the intro and I immediately turned it off, I knew he must've trolled me.
1) Peacemaker is not the best thing on TV. It's entertaining

2) the intro is the SHIT. Wig Wam 4-EVAH!!!

Really entertaining show. Cena is killing it in this role.
he's still hit or miss for me. i don't think he really has "it" so to speak. like the rock has that natural charisma to me, statham has it as well, he can still come across as a bit wooden at times for me.

The soundtrack is ridiculously good. James Gunn knows how to do it. He did a great job with Guardians soundtrack too

yeah he really is showing his diversity. Being able to go from sniveling girl, to devoted son, to ass kicker is fun to watch. I wasn't on board early when it seemed like he was always going to be a down-on-his-luck loser. But now that he is using his gadgets and showing off his killing skills...bring it.

Yeah, and I like that Cena is able to pull off both the hipster vibe of his music taste while also seeming genuine about liking the non-mainstream 80s stuff. big fan.

I gotta say, at least once a day I find myself humming or singing the intro song. I put it on through the speakers while working in the garage the other day. I wish I could have seen the faces of anyone walking by and hearing hellacious 80s hair punk blasting through the closed garage door. :pound:

i had never heard the song before and still haven't really listened to the lyrics as the choreography is going by, don't know if it reveals anything else, but just enjoy it and the cast doing their thing.

It's got a catchy tune. And I chuckle at the line "Float straight to the stars on that flying thing". Though I'm not sure what "throw your dog the invisible bone" means.

He has really leaned into his comedic roles lately...and it fits. Don't see him topping The Rock as top WWE actor, but he is doing pretty great

yeah, i guess i get caught up on Community might be my favorite show of all time, but when stepping back and listening to the opening theme they had from the start, it's like, wait, what?

i feel like he has always been leaning into that, no? didn't he do a psych episode or two as juliets brother?

I liked Psych but didn't see all of them.

He has done kid movies, glad to see him embracing the R rated stuff too.

Greatest title sequence in the history of television. If you don’t like that dance routine, you will not be getting a Christmas card from me.

I had never heard of them before. It looks like they are basically a cover band that does original songs. A satire of 80s glam, with some Weird Al woven in.

that video, btw is absolutely horrible. Easily the worst lip syncing I have ever seen in a video.

But dayum, do I love that song.

I think it is a newer song. The band formed in ‘03, but took about a 5 year hiatus in the ‘10s. They are not an actual ‘80s hair band. They just satirize the genre.

Not sure if you guys are serious? Or is this one giant prank?
