GAME PEACH SEMI: #4 tOSU vs #1 UGA • espn • 8ET

Sheesh ... I was prepared to come here and congratulate tOSU on their win, before the missed FG. But I am seeing the "[name here] was injured and out" excuses. Guess what, our WR1 was limited all game and eventually knocked out, our TE2 who is really TE1B went out early. We were missing our starting RT the entire game. And WR1 was out all year since game 2, came back, and played sparingly. Our top DE went out 5 weeks ago and his replacement went out early in the second half, so we were on DE3. Injuries are part of the game ... stop with the so and so was out, we are so lucky.

Facts are that tOSU played one hell of a game and was the best team on the field for the first 3 Qs. Should have won with a kick, but missed. We missed two FGs as well. Great game, certainly glad it came out like it did.

To tOSU fans, I congratulate you on one hell of a game. I knew you were talented and it would be the toughest game we would get.
Congrats but like I said no shame in saying you need a lot of luck to win…that’s what happened all 4th quarter. There is no doubt about that. We only mention the Harrison Jr injury bc it happened on a questionable call, another questionable call was the Bowers firsr. That was 2 plays in string of bizarre plays and calls. No doubt Ohio St wins with Harrison Jr in there but you can’t control shit like that. If you want to discuss other injuries. Ohio St didn’t have their WR1, WR2, RB 1 & TE1 but I really could care less.

SMMFH ... great game. I'll leave it at that.

If we can just make shit up about what would have happened, then if we had Nolan Smith playing, and if Darnel Washington hadn't gotten injured, and if our RT hadn't gotten injured and out against LSU, and if our WR1 hadn't been limited all game and finally knocked out, and if our DE2 hadn't been injured in the 3Q - if all that hadn't happened, even with Harrison getting injured we would have won by 2 TDs. It seems that is all you have to do, so cool we won by 2 TDs. I like how this works. SMH.

Never seen a luckier team than UGA. Literally every break and call their way. Fuck off
Really? You want to talk about your OL holding that didn't get called all night long?

It was a great game by two talented teams. We missed 2 FGs, you missed the last one. It happens. I was totally coming here to lose with grace before the miss ... you might want to try that. Until the 4Q, you outplayed us and outcoached us. Unfortunately, we won the 4Q by enough to squeak on out.

BTW, because it was mentioned ... here is the Bowers first down. It didn't really matter, because we would have kicked the field goal if he didn't get the 1st down, and we ended up kicking it.

The Bowers 1st down was an easy overturn. Surprising the sideline ref botched it so bad in the first place.

Disappointed but I can't even be mad. Wish we would have stayed aggressive at the end and not did that hand off. Fully expected to get blown out. Good game Georgia
Was coming here to tell you guys the same ... you outplayed us and outcoached us until the 4th Q and even then it took a missed FG. Damn, did Stroud play a game or what? He made some money today, IMO. That's one of those you hate that someone has to lose games.

The TCU player literally lowered his helmet, led with the crown, hit the UM player in the back of the helmet and they didn't call it. They aren't calling targeting in these games. They are letting the teams play.
Unless your name is Joey Bosa.

Or Shawn Wade.

What effect did Harrison's injury have on the game?

CJ Stroud:
Before the injury:
19/26 319 yards, 4 TD
12.25 Yards per attempt

After the injury:
4/8 29 yards, 0 TD
3.625 YPA

Yes, Stroud had the best game of his career. The dude has always been extremely accurate and really good at delivering the ball in the best possible place for the receiver but I had never seen him avoid the rush like that and he finally used his legs when he needed to (something Ohio State fans had been begging him to do his whole entire career lol). Definitely think he moved up some draft boards after that

Only thing I could think of on that one is the ref thought his hand that held him up went down out of bounds bc that would have put the ball right where he spotted it.

Also on the "everything went Georgias way" angle, they definitely caught the breaks the second half but I actually feel Ohio State was getting them the first.

The false start that was called offsides, Harrison's fumble that was very fortunate to go out of bounds.

LOL @ Georgia got all the breaks

Yeah, we got some luck, but are we really gonna sit here and pretend a forced fumble getting knocked out of bounds, one of the most reliable FG kickers in the country missing two field goals, a PI call in the end zone on a ball 20 feet over the receiver’s head, an offsides called when it was clearly a false start and a blatant hold on the QB run that set up the game winning FG attempt that went uncalled didn’t happen?

That wasn’t targeting on Harrison, I hate it he got hurt, but it was the right call.

OSU gave us all we wanted, and from the UGA’s missed FG on their opening drive until the missed FG to end the game, I never felt like we would win.

I’m not gonna talk shit like I want to because I do genuinely feel bad for OSU fans, Lord knows UGA fans know what a bad beat feels like, and OSU was the last team I wanted to play because of what we saw last night. I knew our offense would have to win the game.

It was a hell of a game, glad we won, but the job ain’t over.

I thought he was short live. Getting that leg off the ground is just great body control. Easy overturn with the replay, but I thought he was short until I saw the replay
