I think if they aren't ready.....they should forfeit the game.

No rescheduling or anything, just forfeit the game.

I mentioned it in the other thread but that would have to be accompanied by draft pick losses in the first two days. Otherwise you just bump up their draft pick.

not sure forfeit is fair to the other teams in the AFC who will be jockeying for playoff position with the Bills this season. It could effect seeding a lot. can't just give a team an automatic win (plus an extra bye week).

cancellation and then $$$$ fines and draft picks would make more sense. or, depending on how many other teams go through this, they may end up having to add a week 18 (or more) to get everyone to 16 games.
 
Two weeks in a row? Yes Titans should have to forfeit.

Their opponents players should automatically receive 10 Fantasy Football points for RB/WR/TE/K/Def and 20 FF points for QB.

Cancelling would also fuck over the bills in any potential playoff scenario

and give the bills an automatic win plus an extra bye week? i think they'll figure something else out to punish the titans without punishing the rest of the teams in the afc.

they could just go off of win % like MLB. granted, the NFL has a lot fewer games but you can't just give a contending team an automatic W

They seemed to figure it out with the Chiefs/Patriots. No idea why the Titans and their opponents have to immediately retreat to their bunkers.

agreed. most likely, they'll figure out a way to play all of the games. too much on the line not to

The Chiefs-Pats didn't have as many people test positive as the Titans.....

Ok.....you test positive and you're out. The entire team shouldn't suffer, especially the opponent.
 
I think they add a week or 2 to the schedule.

If you keep the fans out it doesn't matter when they play them.

Titans can't push back to Monday night like Pats because the Titans are supposed to play next Thursday.

CFB seems to have figured it out with just "test positive and you don't play"

Makes no sense to basically punish the other team because the Titans cant figure this out.

I'd also say if we go 3 straight weeks of Titans having issues, they must just cancel their season. Clearly 3 straight weeks shows they don't have any of this under control and its hindering the rest of the league.

Nope, it's the Bills who have to play KC on Thursday.

If it is found that the Titans had this practice despite being told not to, it should result in punishment. Hopefully more than fines. Not sure a forfeiture is warranted, , but if they push the game to Monday and require the Bills to play Monday and Thursday it is punishing the Bills for no reason. That's not fair.
I also would consider this cheating. If other teams followed the rules and didn't cheat, then the Titans got an unfair advantage.
 
They are talking about moving the bills game to saturday if the titans game is moved to Monday
 
Titans-Bills being moved to Tuesday.
 
Titans should forfeit the game but we'll just pretend that the decades of cheating by the Patriots never happened.
