It wasn't a bad one as I am sure none of the replays showed a good angle of the PSU guy and the sideline. If they won the challenge, Purdue would have had the ball at PSU's 23 yard line instead of turnover (which led to a TD).

Instead they lose the right to challenge for the rest of the game? I guess I was thinking NFL with one challenge per half - or I am just cornfused again.

You are cornfused. It’s been 1 coaches challenges. NFL doesn’t do booth reviews outside of last 2 minutes. College does way more booth reviews

Yup...NFL is 2 challenges per game...and if you win both you get a 3rd...unless they changed that recently
