Pete Rose and Shoeless Joe now Hall of Fame eligible

This has been a long time coming.

Both served their sentence and it’s questionable if Shoeless Joe was even guilty of what he was accused of

I believe it was him accepting the money that got him. I believe he admitted to that too I could be wrong about that though.

It's probably just a coincidence that his documented fielding misplays came in the thrown games and half of his hits came in the two honest games, I mean we should really give someone who accepted money to throw games the benefit of the doubt here

Rose gambled on his own team while he was a player-manager and then lied about it repeatedly. A life sentence seems appropriate. Shoeless Joe is murkier.

Banning from the game shouldn’t mean banned from the HOF anyways.

Kind of a bad look that the all time hits leader, all time home run leader and all time Cy Young leader aren’t in

My humble opinion of you should be in the Hall of Fame (in order)
1. “Sweet” Lou Whitaker - never even argued with an umpire & Higher WAR than Jeter.
2. Barry Bonds - had to hit against pitchers who were on Steroids (they rather walk him with the bases loaded).
3. Roger Clemens - had to pitch against hitters who were on Steroids.
4. Pete Rose - Career hit leader - played everywhere.
5. “Shoeless” Joe Jackson. .356 lifetime average … his glove is where triples go to die
tie 6. “Slamming” Sammy Sosa & Mark McGwire. They brought baseball back after a stupidass lockout.

not to mention that sammy sosa was the first person in the history of the human race to . . .

turn himself into a bottle of pepto bismol

Did he ever bet against his own team?
