Like the hire. Still a lot of holes to fill. Raiders have a ton of cap space though and a decent draft spot

I said to all my Raider buddies, that they needed a tenured coach to compete in their Division. So, with Brady in the mix I was thinking Coach Pete or Belichick.

Maybe Chucky again, now that the Cancel agenda is dying?

As far as Football goes, I thought Gruden was the best pick of the lot, we'll just have to wait and see how Pete fares....

The biggest draw back on Pete (73) has to be his age. He now takes over as the oldest coach in the league by far from Andy Reid (66).

Pete will be 74 when he coaches his first game next season.

As shitty as that is, it isn't a completely insane choice given their list of choices. They probably should trade Crosby and trade down to get as many picks as possible and reload the roster for when they actually can get the QB of the future. I guess the only part I would be confused by is this seems like an odd fit for Carroll.

I think Pete is going to need a OC and DC that were former head coaches who are much younger than he is to do most of the work running the team. Instead of OC/DC, really it would be "head coaches of the offense & defense" and Pete would be the HC steering the boat and making game-time management decisions. Really, a 3-headed HC where Pete is the head of heads. I just can't imagine he has the energy left at 73 to do all of what most HCs do in the league these days.

Pete turned us around in 3 years. I have no doubts he can do the same for Vegas. Best of luck to him, love the guy.
