2024 NLCS Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Diego Padres

Welp, Jeopardy is on, gotta go

Nah, same times.
i know traveling to different regions one would come on before the other. could have switched in some places.

You both live in bizzaro world, jeopardy has always been on at 7pm here
haven't watched in a while, but when they had someone on a run, would hate when the earlier timeslot twitter would ruin it.

was going to try and get back to it during the new celeb tournament, but when Andy Richter when out in the first, nope

Yeah, that would be annoying, if I had Twitter

Well the Phillies got a split in SD

...which they've got to be very happy about.

I haven't heard anything. Wheeler in 4 and 7?
Doubt it. Would only be 3 days rest and then 2 days rest. No day off between games 5 and 6

The no off day is weird there. Hopefully the Phillies don't feel a need to panic if they don't win tomorrow. I think Wheeler and Nola go in 5 and 6. Game 4 is probably a Thor/Falter combo or something similar.

The lockout got the schedule all out of whack

Last night sucked, but that Padres team is a good team. While it sucked I’m not worried yet, but if we lose game 3 (especially as badly as last night) I will start to worry.

And I agree….this team doesn’t seem very good in the past when they worry or panic. If they keep their cool they can bounce back and stay hot.

How bad do you think last night was? I mean, we basically had a bad inning. We didn't get dominated, it wasn't embarrassing, it wasn't a debacle. We were in their house on the opposite coast, and we were honestly *this* close to coming to Philly up 2-0.

You crack me up, man. We might just have different views on what “*this* close” means.

Yes, it was just the one inning really. But it was gross. Nauseating. But it doesn’t leave me worried.

I wanted to get one of the first two games. We did. Getting last night too would have just meant we have to get 2 of 3 at home, not 3 of 3. Not really a biggie. Just that inning was gross.

Co-ace blew a 4-0 lead. This is reminiscent of Cliff Lee in 2011.

All the Phillies home games in the playoffs landing on weekends is the worst thing that could’ve happened to an opposing team
