That was quicker than I thought. It’s a fifth and a player. I was hopeful for a little bit more, but this might be realistic.

Smart move for Arizona after they lost their tight end (well, I remember the was injured a week or two back).

Yes. He already played this week. I don’t know the exacts, but I’m imagining there is something in the CBA that lays this out for player safety. It just wouldn’t be wise to throw a guy back out there three days later.

I mean….if they aren’t planning to punt even more over the next week or so I would be surprised. The marketing that this was going to be a “retool” and not a “rebuild” was transparent as hell. This team is in rebuild.

But, this alone isn’t going to make the crap offense that’s been out there worse. We get Goedert back and have a solid TE.

This was getting the best we could for a player we weren’t going to keep any longer anyway.

Holy hell the standards for starting a thread have gone to hell around here:

Eagles get a 5th rounder and a rookie cornerback that the Eagles were very high on during the draft process...

I have him standing in for Pitts in my fantasy team. He had a decent game Thursday. But now his stats don't show on the Yayhoo game! I guess they changed Ertz for the trade too soon and nixed all the fantasy pts from Thursday. dammit.

I'm sure it'll get fixed. In my app it shows his score in the matchup but not on my roster.
 
Ertz was inactive for Cardinals. Of course the thursday philly stats count in FF.
