Pick 5 Opponent's Stadiums To Visit

Of the places I’ve been I would suggest besides Jordan Hare which is by far the best:

LSU at night best road trip
Tennessee the Vol Navy is something
Texas is a good experience
All white game at Penn State was impressive
FSU when it’s rocking and the full tomahawk chant is impressive

Places I’ve no plans to go back:

Starkville as the cowbells are beyond annoying
aTm because those idiots won’t sit down
Florida is the most red neck fan base in the country
 
Definitely a cool thing about the move to the SEC for OU fans. I prefer to watch at home now days but a lot of people are excited about it.

Hell to the yeah. The two places I'd be if I could afford them are San Diego and Scottsdale.

I may have told these before so indulge me if I have.

Son of our best friends from early marriage days in El Paso was the CFO/Comptroller at the Marriott Marquis Marina in San Diego. His parents and us decided to take a trip to San Diego when he was there. He grew up in Houston but knew how hickish the four of us were. So he gave us his San Diego instructions for us to follow on our visit. Even though there is a two hour difference, he said don't get up early because no one in the area we were staying does. Second was there was a phenomenon he'd observed during his time in San Diego. Everyone has money but no one has a job.

Played golf at Troon North in Scottsdale a few years ago. They paired my wife's uncle and I with a couple of Canadians one of which lived in Phoenix and his best friend from Toronto was visiting. When I learned he was the transplanted Canadian I asked if he lived closed to the golf course. His reply was "Hell no. I can't afford to live in Scottsdale. My wife is jealous of this place but has the best description of Scottsdale. Her description of it is 'Scottsdale, Arizona. Where the tits are fake and the diamonds are real."

Good stuff for SD and Scottsdale.

There are some parts of Scottsdale that are more affordable than you might think. Aside from a year living in Phoenix after graduating from ASU I’ve lived there ever since. South Scottsdale is not out of the realm for many people. It’s not quite as nice as the rest of the city in my opinion, but it is located right next to Old Town which has the best nightlife in the Phoenix area. Also has some good restaurants, more affordable golf, places to shop, etc.

Well Notre Dame Stadium is on my list. Definitely need to venture out there next year when Boise visits.

I see Albertsons Stadium on your list. What do you think the odds are Notre Dame schedules the return game? lol

I don't think the odds are great, but I do think it would be cool to see ND on the blue turf. I think Oregon and UW have played @ Boise, so it might not be out of the question at some point.

I agree its pretty nice but it would cost a fortune to live there especially where I would WANT to live plus the politics would be awful.

I do remember Old Scottsdale and the homes around there were definitely a little older. But I was under the impression they were also pricey. I love the golf courses in the Phoenix area. We’d go there every summer when the rates are down. People thought we were crazy…which we probably were. But, playing in 110 in EP wasn’t a hell of a lot different than 114 in Phoenix. First time I ever played Troon North there wasn’t one house. Played there 7-8 years ago and every lot had a big ass house on it!
