Morning all

Lawn bowling was rained out again, 6 weeks and 3 rain of those have been rainouts


Lost a large branch in the storms, need to cut that up tonight after work.

Employee appreciation event this afternoon, good times

keeping an eye on the radar for volleyball tonight...but I think we are going to be playing

Rain here all day and night and I do believe all day tomorrow but at least (for now) it looks like our 16 weeks straight of rain on the weekends will end

FIL is getting a pacemaker today. We have to get them some sort of live-in care because even if he comes home, he needs some sort of recovery time before he can go back to being my MIL's caretaker. Wife/BIL might have to get more active in MIL's care, too. MIL apparently asks for bathroom assistance almost every hour during the night. Favre knows how long that's been going on.

Anyways, reminder to be done with it. Even two posters who used to be reasonable brain have seem to go full mush

I might be acting like my buddy lol. After Coach Pitch, the head coach goes 3 more left. I look at him and say the schedule only has 1 more game left. He goes, "Oh even better." I wanted to say yes as he's not really put too much effort in besides pitching. I've tried not to step on his toes, but also tried to get those moving on next year to work on things they'll do. He treats it like tball for everyone. For the younger ones that is fine.

My buddy in another town basically added himself as a coach and took over and righted the ship. He was telling me all he was changing during basketball. He said he would have stepped on our head coaches toes if it were him. Last night I let the older kids get aggressive on the base paths after the other team did. He didn't like it. Made a comment he should have one kid turn on a pitch (so it could tag me at 3rd base coach). I just laughed at him.
 
Pulled ~8 gallons of weeds out of my vegetable garden today and put down wheat straw mulch. Thank goodness for the break in the rain.
