Saban has been consistent about this for a while. He got unnecessary hate too. He begged for 9 conference games and to eliminate the FCS November games but everytime it got voted on he was the only SEC coach that voted in favor of it.

But yet he is the one that always got the hate

I mean, I know the technical answer is that Clemson came out ranked at 16 or whatever. But I’d think they’d have adjusted the rankings in conference
