Deion Sanders would definitely leave a Colorado program he has built into a winner but isn't quite yet complete as a champion only as long as he's got his son as his quarterback in the NFL.

This isn't a guess. One person familiar with the elder Sanders' thinking told OutKick that Sanders has mentioned the scenario as very attractive.

And even close friend Michael Irvin, who spent time with Sanders in Colorado last weekend, suggested this is the scenario Sanders definitely covets as it pertains to the Dallas Cowboys.

This is a dumb article. It's heavily predicated upon there being this substantial demand for either Shedeur or Deion Sanders. The hype machine has slowed down only a little on Shedeur, placing him in the middle or bottom of the first round of a lot of drafts, with many still saying "QB1!!". I think it's more likely he does in the 3rd or 4th round to someone hoping for a bargain or insurance plan if they have a mid-level bum or injury risk like Daniel Jones or Tua Tagovailoa.

As for what Daddy Prime has done in Colorado... I doubt even someone as braindead as Jerruh would pull the trigger on hiring him as HC. Deion would be a huge story and put butts into seats for all of half a season, as the flash would be huge but wear out quickly. All of Jerruh's HCs have one thing in common- they're all boring and controllable. The second they defy the owner, they're dumped.

I'd love it, as seeing the Cowboys go down in flames, never gets old. But I'm pretty sure Jerruh's looking for a Belichick type, or whatever lobotomized version of him becomes available.

I don't think a top tier coach, already worth millions, would tarnish his name working for JJ. JJ's a loser and his tactics create more losing. He needs a loser as a coach. That's his brand.

Well Deion has the ‘loser’ part down now. He and McCarthy are paid about the same. I doubt continuing to lose, at the professional level holds a lot of interest for either guy — even a control freak like Jerruh.

I think Jerruh should hire me. Give me 8 mil a year and I'll be his bitch, tell him what an awesome GM he is and that people just don't understand his greatness. I know fuck all about coaching, but Jerruh does that anyway. I can just stand on the sidelines and watch hockey on my phone.

Can he just be candid about his plan. He is going to want to coach his shitbag of a kid in the NFL.

He isn't dropping to the 3rd or 4th round.....

And he is definitely QB1 in the draft.

LOL.

I’ll be your assistant coach of linebackers for only $2mil so long as I’m not the one who has fellate the old man…

I just looked at a half dozen mock drafts that were all updated in the last week. Shedeur was as low as #4.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHaha, what kind of draft class is this?!

Well, I won’t bet on the draft, but I doubt highly he goes in the top 10.
He will be first round and within the top 4 QBs taken.

From what little I've heard, not a particularly strong one at qb.
When he goes in the draft and where out of the QBs could depend on Deion's helicopter parenting saying he'll only play in certain cities/situations.

All that did for Eli was force a trade.
