Because he pissed off the one organization that was willing to give him a chance, by being an asshole to pretty much everyone.

The most telling thing, imo, is that I haven't even heard of him being offered an assistant coaching job as a way to get back to a head coaching position like Kidd got with the Lakers and Lue with the Clippers.

When a guy who actually did a solid job by getting what had been a terrible franchise to the playoffs, isn't even getting that, he's pissed off the wrong person and everyone knows about it.
