Post Here If Your Coach Is On The Hot Seat

We probably good for at least 1 year before we start calling for the coach's head....
Kelly's buyout is probably over 70+ million at this point in the contract so you are stuck for a while if he doesn't pan out.

What does Harsin need to do to be safe this season? Wouldn't have though he would be on the hot seat already
No clue I got disgusted with the boosters after last year when they tried to get him fired. We are near Tennessee levels of disfunction at this point.

Maybe a luke warm seat, with a direct line to the blast furnace.
Special teams, at best, were among the worst in college football last year. Even a moderate improvement there should mean a couple of wins.
Barring a complete shit show this Saturday, Frost will be back next year.

If he makes a bowl he is fine. If he doesn't then he is gone.

I don't know if I'd place any money on that. I believe that there are options beyond that. 6-6 with a bowl game sounds good, but it is how they get to 6-6 that matters. Starting 6-2 then finishing 0-4 over the last month wouldn't exactly cement a return for Frost
And 5-7 could go either way as well, depending on how they get there. Winning two in the last 4 would go far.

Anything less that 5-7 would mean a new coach next year.

He is a arrogant fucking prick, he will run the same play over and over.

This article not having Neal Brown in this makes it full o shit.

You went bowling last year so do it again and he is due for an extension.
We got damn lucky with horrid calls against Iowa state to beat them and Texas and TCU being horrendous. The offense has been pitiful for 3 seasons now. Not sure it’ll get much better but I can hope.

I wish that were true because if he had just run Tank Bigsby over and over we win at least two of the games we lost last year.

I'll say this his play selection and strategy in games have left me perplexed at times. There had better be a big improvement in that area this year or it's going to get ugly and it was horrifically ugly last year (to the point I'm still embarrassed about how things were handled and I consider egregiously wrong what they tried to do).

Honestly, it's almost impossible to evaluate how Harsin is doing because last year was an extremely weird year (to be expected with all that was going on including COVID restrictions) and our boosters cut his legs out from under him on the recruiting front. I fully believe that at this point Harsin has been set up to fail and it's not fair what they have done. He may be a prick but he deserved the chance to prove himself since they hired him and to attack his character without evidence was as low as it gets. At this point, Auburn will get what it deserves and I feel bad for the players.
