1. Oklahoma wins a playoff game
2. Georgia beats Clemson, Clemson makes the playoffs and Georgia doesn’t
3. People start to finally recognize that the top of the Sun Belt is better than the top of the AAC

Some team, but I don't know who, makes their playoff debut.

Minnesota wins 6 or 7 games and plays in the who gives a shit bowl.

The bold part of this is other Goofer fans will tell me i'm not a real fan since I didn't celebrate like we won a National Title after we beat Bowling Green.

Shit, that's not bold either.

Nevermind!!

Damn! I just looked through all the conferences and I just can't find a new participant either. So, I guess it is bold.

I would pool it as Florida, Texas A&M, Iowa State, Wisconsin, Miami.

Not a bad group to give a chance to.

Florida and Miami have schedules that are not favorable for them to make it IMHO. (Miami does dodge Clem but have Bama OOC). Florida's cross divisional games are Bama and LSU and they still have Georgia and FSU.

A&M's schedule looks the most promising sans having to play in the SEC West. They get Mizzou and South Cackalacky from the East and their OOC ain't difficult at all.

Wisconsin's schedule looks favorable too since they dodge Ohio State. They do have Notre Dame at Soldier Field.

Iowa State's looks good too. They get Iowa, Oklahoma State, Texas and TCU all at home but have to go to Norman. Norman didn't bother them two years ago but that was early in the year.

Schedule alone, it looks like the best to least chances would be A&M, Wisconsin, Iowa State, Miami and then Florida.

I think Wisconsin has a decent chance even as a 1 loss team. A loss in the region season then win their CCG or undefeated regular season with close loss to an undefeated Ohio State. (2nd option more likely). Their SOS is stronger than 2017.
