Hopefully that gives UGA some extra motivation on Saturday.

So long as Bama beats Ole Miss and the barn, I'll be content.

My dream scenario (if we get by Georgia) is that you guys lose to Ole Miss so Tennessee can get Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss in Atlanta to get revenge for last year.

Tennessee is #1. Let that sink in because 20 games ago (2 years), we were rock bottom as a program.

I don't think anyone is doubting Josh Heupel as a coach.

I know it doesn’t matter nor does anyone really care. But how is Texas ranked with 3 losses but not FSU?

Texas is in a better conference... duh...

Also they will soon be in an even better conference as well.

Yeah, that is odd. Kentucky should be ranked with 3 losses over both :).

The Bama effect. If you lose to Bama you’re still good.
Like I said, I know it’s not really a big deal. But FSU has the bigger win(LSU) and all of their losses have come against top 25 teams.

Texas best win is…Oklahoma? I guess they have the better quality loss. That’s really it. Lol.

I agree about conference, but Florida State did beat LSU.

I’d ask the same thing of NCSt. How and the fuck can anyone watch their games and think they are a top 25 team after how dog shit their offense is. Sure the starter is out but HayZeus Christ, they almost (and should have) lost to VPI at home while not looking impressive at all in all their other games. And yes I know they only have 2 losses.

Yeah there’s definitely an argument for them to be out. Even with Leary the offense looked mediocre. But I guess there should also be some credit for winning your games, no matter how ugly.

Fair point.

And Texas being ranked is fucking bullshit. But hopefully KState and TCU ends that for this season the next two weeks.

Excuse Me!
Texas' best win was over Iowa State.

I'd wait until you don't have Hendon Hooker before you push all your chips in on Heupel. Mel Tucker was the next big thing when he hit the lottery in the portal with Kenneth Walker. He got himself a $95 million contract. Michigan State is a train wreck now without Walker.

When that lottery ticket leaves -- can they continue to find them? Next year will be very telling as to what kind of a coach Heupel is. If he just brings the next man up and they continue to be competitive with the top teams in the SEC -- then I'd be talking up Heupel.

, lpoint.

It's not any more bullshit than Oregon, UCLA and USC being ranked 8,9, and 12. They don't have a win over an OOC P5 between the 3 of them and their conference is 3-7 vs other P5's.

In fact, the only team that any of them has beaten that has also beaten a P5 team from another conference with a winning record is BYU...with their overtime win over 5-3 Baylor. I'm supposed to be impressed by Oregon's 41-20 win over 4-5 BYU...shit, they lost to Liberty and Arkansas too...Shit Arkansas hung 52 on them and nobody is pretending KJ Jefferson is a Heisman Candidate like they are with Bo Nix.

I might need a TD for Oregon, but I'll take Texas straight up against either of the other two clowns on a neutral field and sleep like a baby the night before.

UCLA in particular is egregious...somebody mentioned they beat Utah and Washington...so what...Utah lost to Florida, who is currently 1-4 in the SEC and Washington who yeah...is 6-2, but, lol, every team they have beaten is 3-5 and they lost to a 3-5 Arizona State team that got absolutely throated by Oklahoma State. who in turn got bum-rushed by Kansas State last weekend, but somehow UCLA is better than all of them because they beat a Washington team by a touchdown that couldn't carry K-State or Oklahoma State's bath water...ridiculous.

The Pac-12 better pray for some favorable bowl matchups, because last year's 0-5 record looks like it's going to be on repeat.
