Predict the Final Poll

They also beat Clemson.

As I said. My rankings were purely CFP eye test and quick back of the hand math. Doesn't matter and don't care what 2-6 are at the end of the day.

I addressed that.

Georgia also beat Clemson. They beat them by a considerably wider margin than tejas did.

Georgia (34-3) over Clemson. 31 pt margin and held Clemson to 3 pts on a neutral field.
tejas (38-24) over Clemson. 14 pt margin. Clemson scored 24 points on tejas IN AUSTIN

That's not "back of the hand math" Those are real numbers.

And @Red_Alert who will lose his shit if you rank Texas higher than he thinks they should be.

This is literally the most pointless thing to argue. Nobody is going to remember where Texas finished in the 2024 season in the future because they didn't win the national title, same goes for everyone else who didn't get to the title game.

Nobody cares besides Oregon fans who are dying to be #2 apparently. Lol.

I've got no problem with that if Ohio St wins the Natty.

Oregon DID beat them in the regular season, won the Big 10 CCG, and went 13-0 before losing the rematch in the CFP.

My last post on this, but what are you even talking about? You said that I was "humiliated" by being wrong. Shit, I've been so wrong so many times in my life on things that actually mattered, the idea that I would be humiliated for being wrong here on a sports board is a joke. Dude, get a life. It's a sports board. To be perfectly clear so you know where I am coming from:

- I really love CFB, and I spend an inordinate amount of time here and on other sports boards.

- But, if I had to quit it tomorrow, I wouldn't give it a second thought. I've posted before that I left the old Hoop for about 3.5 years when it got really toxic (shocking, it was an Oregon poster who lost his mind), and it wasn't important to me. I was wasting my time. The new Hoop still has its moments, but for the most part, this is a fun place to be.

- But humiliated for being wrong? Get the fuck out of here ... I've been right here often, and I've most certainly been wrong. If you think being wrong has ever affected my mental well-being for a second, you are more of an idiot than I already think you are.
You don't have to explain shit to him. Of all people.

Being #2 last year was sure better than being 6-7.

And @Red_Alert who will lose his shit if you rank Texas higher than he thinks they should be.
Worse, he's entirely losing his shit over our PREDICTIONS of how that last vote will go. That's not the same as saying where we would like the ranking to end, or who SHOULD be ranked in what spot.

You MUST defend what will go through the minds of the voters to end up going with your prediction.

People pick insanely stupid hills to die on here.
