Nah, wacky things happen at a funeral. Everyone is emotional and feeling awkward

At a college buddy's funeral we left momento's in his casket, one of our friends left a championship ring inside. They close it up and start shoveling and this guy....turns a 180 and heads back. We think, wow he's really taking this hard. He asked the grave diggers if they could stop for a minute. Our dude was going to climb in there and get his ring back.

Nope! That train left the station!!!!

Pretty common. Was at one just a few weeks ago and it was recorded at the family's request. They did something afterwards where they had a backdrop set up and people could record their memories or share stories.

I worked at a funeral home. The best of the worst was the Sunday tiger woods won Augusta by the most strokes. Someone brought a TV and set it up next room. People were cheering and screaming all while people in the next room were grieving. I thought very disgusting. First of all they were cheering golf. Fucking golf....

Another story.

We had security at one where a rich dude slipped on his boat dock hit his head and died.

It was to keep the other "family" he had out. His oldest boy arranged it and I think none of the guys daughters or wife knew about them. They were were straight ass Italian and the other family not so much and easy to spot....
