Not much different than before when NL teams would have guys who essentially only were pinch hitters in late game situations and never saw the field. Pujols will just get a few more at-bats in the season. That's if he's actually the full time DH all season.

Pablo Sandoval's fat ass has been the NL version of a DH the last few seasons. And there are other guys around the NL as well who rarely ever see the field. Or there are guys who rarely ever see the batters box, because they are late game fielding specialists or base runners. Should we get rid of them too? Are they playing baseball?
