Damn. His place on Lake Lanier was beautiful. Knuckler’s Cove. Chatted with him a few times on the lake, always seemed like a good guy.

Pitched before my time, but he and Hank are the only reasons anyone knew there was an MLB team in Atlanta for a while.
 
Had the Braves in a great place in the '82 playoff opener, but the good Lord dropped a bunch of rain down before the game was official. Whole postseason that year may have had a different result had that rain not come.
