Raiders trade DaVante Adams to the Jets

Meanwhile, the Bills traded for Amari Cooper in a shrewd deal.

Cooper and a 6th rounder to Buffalo for a 3rd and 7th.

Dumbass Jets doesnt realize that its not the recievers,Lazard,Wilson and Conklin, its Rodgers and that suspect oline......

Rodgers is getting hit hard out there and he too old to keep getting hit like that......shouldve trade for a lineman.

Someone is gonna be left out of that wr group........betting its not Adams.
The OL is not much better than last season......that's a huge issue.....defenders are seemingly in the backfield as soon as the ball is snapped.....

It's like some of you guys have forgotten what "N.F.L." stands for. Not For Long

Exactly. And it could be argued he is not past his prime....2 seasons he had over 100 catches but Carr was released and since he has not had a legit QB, Still managed a good season last year,
Note that I said "past his prime physically". Those intangible elements to his game I cited could serve him well in remaining a very productive NFL WR through his mid 30's ala Larry Fitzgerald.

Fair enough.

How you doing, bud?

It's not great but I think they're only middle of the pack in terms of sacks allowed.

Rodgers has not been great at getting rid of the ball.

It's kind of like a Mahomes, Allen, Jackson league. They can all get out of the types of sacks Rodgers has taken easily.

Which still doesn't say much for Jets management, since they knew this, but...

The Jets are 22nd in sacks allowed. That's bottom 10, not middle of the pack,

Not even talking about sacks really, though...Rodgers takes a lot of bad hits even when he isn't being sacked....From what I have seen at least.

Rodgers cleary cannot scramble like he used to and I think he is making poor decisions in throwing the INT's rather than run or throw it out of bounds. Adams should help a little since he and Rodgers are very familiar with each other but the OL and running game need to be better. They got the running game going a last night.

Yep, exactly.

At the end of last night's game, they showed Rodgers sitting on the bench, just sitting there in deep contemplation, and I'm guessing it might have been that moment, that it dawned upon him that he was so unbelievably spoiled to be protected by above average to very good (if not excellent) offensive lines during all his years in Green Bay. Now he's feeling the effects of playing behind a shitty offensive line and he's not faring so well lol.

And Im loving every minute of it.......

Basically the Jets are becoming the nursing home for offensive players at the end of their life cycle.
