Rams Can’t Wait To Dump Stafford

Who would they start? Jimmy G? Stetson Bennett? Mystery option C? Not sure I understand this move.
#3 pick in the draft for a guy who has mulled retirement for the last couple years? If any NFL club does that, their franchise should be relegated to the UFL.
Aaron Rodgers?
One old guy whose wife is a pain in the ass for an even older guy who’s even more of a pain in the ass? Please make it so.
There isn’t a QB in the draft I’d take at #3.

Yeah, I don't see it for a 37-yr old. At best, he's a throw-in to picks swap. Something like: Giants get the Rams #1 (26) + Rams 2026 #2 + Rams #3-2 (100) + Stafford. Rams get Giants #1 (3) + Giants 2026 conditional #3 if Giants win a playoff game.
The Giants have need of a non-Geno Smith type QB, but could potentially wait a year by drafting a QB later. They're not a terribly run franchise, so would recognize the value of not stretching for Sanders or Dart and instead build value.
2 years / $50 million isn't overpaying too much for that limited time frame, particularly when he can be cut after 1 year also. What's more likely is that the Rams dump Stafford no matter what pick they get, so he probably ends up being more expensive as a FA signing, particularly with guaranteed monies.

Not so fast, I could see a coach and GM desperate to keep their jobs hoping Stafford could save them. It would take more than Stafford for the #3. Maybe Stafford, LAR 1st, and another pick like 4th or 5th.
Would this trade be allowed in Madden?
