That's absolutely horrible. People in Central & South Florida are idiots.
The Stadium is shit, it's in a bad area, and a pain in the ass to get to (think of Turner Field but shittier). Most Rays fans are in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Polk Counties, on the other side of the Bay. The Rays have a huge following here and really high TV ratings, and most fans want a stadium in either Ybor City (near downtown Tampa) or somewhere in Hillsborough County.
The Lightning had the same issue when they played at the Trop in the beginning, then they move to Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa and constantly sell out.
