Maybe more of an Ozzie Smith. Great (but over rated) defense. Average (at best) bat. Cardinal sheen.

Bohm confirmed that that was what he said. But it was more akin to hitting a bad shot in golf and saying “I fucking hate this game” than anything past that.

I don’t really buy it, though. The Philly fans are absolutely horrible. They ride their players so hard, then get all bent out of shape when a player barks back. Reminds me of the annoying sister in the back seat who continually pokes her brother in the arm until he snaps and hits her back, then she cries to mom and dad that he hit her.

Have you seen the video? The ump was going to toss Bum before the check even started. He pulled a Joe West on Bum. He was not going to end the hand check until Bum blew up and he got tossed.

Bum can be a bit… “salty”… for sure. That is just part of his DNA. No getting around that. But umps are whiny little bitches.

I don’t see how that ump doesn’t get disciplined, but the umpire’s union has to be one of the strongest in the world
