Random Thoughts After CFB Semi-finals

Not happening, it would be an absolute mess because the officials use it as a crutch now. I personally like knowing the calls are correct for the most part.
I’d argue they aren’t any more correct now than they are without it. Michigan had two replays yesterday. Both objectively wrong. Then replay missed late in the game where Michigan got a first down with a catch that wasn’t a catch.

Also intentional grounding... if you can spike the ball to avoid or negate a part of the game, then you should not receive a penalty for "intentional grounding" to avoid a sack (i.e. a part of the game). That is exactly what a spike is and intentional grounding/incomplete pass that is in the box and not passed the LOS.
Not the same thing and there is a rule that allows spiking after immediately receiving the snap from under center.

And if you think about it, on intentional grounding you lose the down, same as spiking, only difference is no penalty yards.

I get that, my point is that it's dumb.

Just like an incomplete pass. That's fine. I am saying that it should not be a penalty, it absolutely should be a loss of down.

I wonder where Spinkiller is today.

For those of who do not know who that is, he was on CBS. An Oklahoma fan who never got over the Boise State game and became overly obsessed with "proving" how superior BCS teams were to mid-majors.

"If they ever joined a real conference, they would be exposed."

Wonder what he thinks of TCU being in the CFP Title Game.

Big 12 is really kicking ass as a conference, both football and basketball.

Makes OU and Texas look like couple of total pussies.

One of the TD overturns was wrong. The other one was fine.

Zach Evans decided to leave TCU for Ole Miss. Wonder how he feels about that now.

Two things.
1. It is beneath them to have to go to places like Waco, Lubbock, Ames, when they can be going to exotic locations like Lexington, Little Rock and Starkville.
2. ....

Which one was fine? The targeting was objectively wrong. The TD reversed on the 1 yard line was wrong. And then they missed the ball bouncing called a catch late in the game. I’d argue replay got 0 things right

Maybe the reason is because OU and texas are there? How good will these teams be in 10 years with less exposure and less money?

I'll add on more to the list. As in the OU vs Florida St. game players on defense going down and faking injuries to slow down up tempo teams. Players should have to sit out 5 plays not 1 to try and stop them from doing it.

From my post it should have been clear I was talking about the TD overturns.

5) replay needs to change or go away entirely. It ruins the experience way too often. I can accept the call on the field being wrong I can’t accept replay being wrong so often. Either remove it from the game, or do something like give each coach 1 replay challenge per half. The nonsense we’re getting now cannot continue.
I considered adding replay to my original post but I feel like everyone has complaints about it. I think it is over used but its not going anywhere
