I don't think he is clearly the worst of the 5. Lynch was overrated! But yeah, better than Taylor...

well, 4 people have responded so far all having lake on the bottom... so he is the consensus last place... im sure if you added 5 more similar level safeties, Lake would be last place still... he is probably the worst safety of any similar score...

Butler is without a doubt better than Lynch imo. The hardest 2 I had ranking was Woodson and Browner
I hope they find an immediate cure for all cancer 10 minutes after it kills you!
1 and 2 are Browner & Butler how ever you wanna rank them then Woodson... IMO anyhow, I don't wanna be a bully here!

Hof monitor has Butler as the clear best but Lynch has more pro bowls and they overlapped often. Granted i think Lynch's Denver pro bowls were suspect

Yeah I don’t trust PB’s. You would see guys very popular among fans that clearly were not the best on the field. Lynch is no slouch but I think Butler had the better peak

it’s easy to say you don’t trust PBs or APs. But it is a pretty good starting point for any debate.
same is true for football reference AV index.
I mean it’s nice to say just watch the player. But we can’t watch everyone enough for the eye test to be accurate.
