Rank Your Top 10 CFB Programs of All Time

It is funny how Notre Dame gets so much respect despite the fact that they haven't had a TRUE National Title Contending team since the early 1990s. How long are people going to ride the Notre Dame teams from the 1940s-1960s? I blame it on Rudy.

Give it some time and the following changes will happen:

Florida, LSU and maybe Georgia and Auburn will be in top 10

Tennessee, Penn State, Notre Dame, and maybe Michigan will be out of the top 10

Tennessee actually is already out in most of your rankings. They would have been a safe bet for the top 10 before 2008.

Continue like they have been the last 15 years. Similar to Tennessee. While Florida, Georgia, and LSU continue to make playoffs and compete for Titles. Heck, once Saban is gone, the flood gates will open for other SEC Programs.

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. LSU
4. USC
5. Oklahoma
6. Georgia
7. Florida
8. Clemson
9. Florida State

Don't have a problem with 1-8, although I'd have to look at more information to determine the exact order.

But, UGA should be before FSU for sure. Probably before LSU, but would agree that LSU/UGA/PSU/UTjr are all kind of blobbed together at 9-12. UGA is clearly missing from your list and honorable mentions.

Fair. I will probably revisit mine when I get home and see if I update anything. :beer2:

Keep in mind, that my list was made before UGA recent success the last two years, but I am thinking that success could be enough to push them in.
