Basketball Recruiting - Ranking the best jobs by conference: Big Ten

I'd probably put Michigan State ahead of Ohio State and Michigan. And LOL at Northwestern, Rutgers and Penn State for still being below a school that has never won a single NCAA tournament game.

I'd put Ohio State and Michigan State ahead of IU. I get the tradition and all, but IU has been pretty awful the last decade and a half. I'd put Illinois ahead of Wisconsin based on recruiting potential. Rest looks pretty good.

I think PSU/NW/Rutgers on the bottom makes sense.

I think you could make the argument for either of your top 4 as #1. Maryland is right behind. I think Wisconsin, illinois, and Purdue are in a tier right behind that, where you could switch teams around. Iowa and Minnesota after that, interchangeable. Nebraska, PSU, and Northwestern after that.

tbh, i'm still a big believer in Indiana's potential. after all of the years, they are still the closest thing the Big Ten has to a blueblood.

also, the Maryland job being perpetually over-rated by the internet is a tradition that will never die
