Huge difference in playing AF and the other teams from a student moral point.

It is a good conference. Do you think some of the conferences like the Big West will continue to be so once the scholarship limits for baseball increase?

Yeah, i think there will continue to be specialized conferences and schools outside of the big football conferences.

The scholarship limit could have helped spread some talent around, but I think schools with rich history in non-football sports will continue to prosper...maybe even get better with the additional room. A lot of them are private schools, so they had to battle tuition issues vs big state schools.

If the Pac goes after AAC as a lot of talking heads have speculated what does the AAC do? I think at minimum they should take a shot at Air Force. The American conference with Air Force, Army and Navy. yeah

Keep an eye on UNLV. It’s where the conference is basically headquartered right now. None of the other schools allegedly want to raise their athletic departments budget
 
Sac state making push to move up to FBS
I would have to assume they want to get in the MWC.
if the MWC goes after existing G5 teams from CUSA Sunbelt or American(doubt) dominoes could get them up into CUSA at least which i believe has fallen to the weakest conference.

it would make it easier to get the conference championship game in Vegas if thats a goal. have to see who else joins before that maybe becomes a decision. if they go more east a more over centralized location may make sense like denver. but who knows
 
i saw something about MWC has 7 full members and Hawaii is only football and so MWC might have to expand or make Hawaii a full member and im just not sure if thats 100% right

Yeah no idea. I listened to all the AD’s from the 4 schools yesterday and the way it came off is that they don’t want to go east. All of them said they wanted student athlete welfare and that’s the only thing I could think of

makes sense but at the same time west options are limited. they left the MWC for a reason so I cant imagine they also want to just invite more MWC teams.
