Red River Shootout will be pretty pointless this year

I feel like OU vs. Texas is a lot like Florida vs. Tennessee, it seems like OU owns Texas mentality like Florida with TN. Even when Texas has better teams, OU seems to win. In fact Texas seems to perform better when people write them off.
 
The RRSO is never pointless to the fans of Oklahoma and Texas. If you're 1-9 on the season, and that victory is over the other team, it salves the hurt.

Oklahoma scores 10 offensive points after halftime and that included two OT periods.

We got punched in the mouth out of the gate, then we picked ourselves up and kicked some Sooner ass after halftime.

And Davin Bellamy was a linebacker

but unlike TCU, they actually win the conference.. TCU seems this is the signature win then fall back.. even to bowl ineligibility
