Red_Alert!! Come piss in my Wheaties!

You mean stop you from pissing in your your own Wheaties?

Toss his first year at each program then re-evaluate.

He was (3-1) at Temple his final 3 years.

He was (0-6) at Baylor his final two years.
One loss @ Iowa St his second year.
One 6 pt loss to tejas his second year.

Three of those 6 losses were to Oklahoma. Baylor played them to 3 points and one OT in his final season.
One 12 pt loss to Georgia his final season.

It's too early to tell for his second year at Nebraska.
The Illinois Fighting Bert's are ranked #24 this week, so I guess we'll find out Friday.

Nebraska's -9 hosting the Fighting Bert's.
Over/Under is 43.5.

I'd go Bert's and the Over.

Started 7-0 that season before the wheels came off.

Only ranked one more year after that.
Frost's 2nd year in 2019.

I was at this game. Was wondering if it was Nebraska's last time being ranked during the season.

You guys are going to continue to improve as long as you keep Rhule there though i do wonder if he has a ceiling. He has a great track record of taking struggling teams and getting them to compete quickly but he has never had the chance to show it can be sustained

They started out #24 in 2019, but lost in their 2nd game against Colorado

Nebraska started 7-0 in 2016 and finished 9-4 outside the top 25

I think it's Nebraska with the ceiling. Pelini reached it consistently. I don't believe Rhule is a better coach than Pelini.

Time will tell.

I don't know how good Rhule will be going forward, but Pelini's such a good coach he's been unemployed for four years now.

After being fired from Nebraska, he ran Youngstown St into the dirt, and then was run out of Baton Rouge after one season as DC.

Suh and Dorsey made Pelini look good.

If we are being honest, Nebraska is only relevant this year because a really good 5 star QB had family ties to the program and chose to go there. Without Riola it's another .500 type season.

I hope Rhule can turn the program around. A good Nebraska is good for the B1G and cfb. But I do think the ceiling is what we saw in the Pelini years like you said. Until proven otherwise.

I have confidence Rhule will turn things around to the point that the Huskers will consistently be contenders for the Motor City Bowl...

but they'll be battling Michigan for that prestigious honor every year.

we have 2 4 star qb's on the depth chart behind him...... plus the NAIA player of the year from last year

Don’t forget about the $5,000,000 in NIL.
