How long are you planning to keep your truck?

The thing about ceramics is that at some point it will fail. Most last 5-7 years. If you are planning to keep the car 3-5 years, it's a good way to keep it looking great. If you are planning to keep the car for 7-15 years, you are looking at one, maybe two, reapplications which modern factory paint can handle, it just becomes a question of how comfortable you are planning to aggressively polish your paint every 5-7 years.

I've had it now since 2015, it's a 2011. I don't have plans to trade it in any time soon. It still has low mileage.

I've got a Ragdoll cat (it's a breed). Their hair grows very long and unless groomed it get matted. Since there are very few cat groomers, I had to wait a long time to get her groomed. They had to shave all of her hair off, but it'll grow back.

The only other cat groomer was over 30 miles away. One way. That's 120 miles to drop her off and come back a few hours later. Much too long to be away from my wife.

There is a regular mobile grooming service that I saw in the parking lot last year. I took down the name and number if we needed to use them. So we used them to groom both our dog and cat. It keeps my wife's mind at ease when I'm away from her and she's alone.
